Strawberry smoothie with orange juice

  • Strawberries (200 g)
  • Orange juice (50 ml)

Preparation of the recipe

  1. Take the strawberries, wash them thoroughly, carefully remove the stalks and pour them into the blender.
  2. Take the orange, cut it in half, squeeze it using a juicer (manual or electric), and then pour it into the blender together with the strawberries.
  3. Start at low speed to mix the ingredients, and then once coarsely chopped, bring to maximum speed until everything is creamy.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve with a straw.

Advice

  1. This recipe can be prepared in spring when you find strawberries and oranges in production.
  2. Choose fresh fruit, from controlled provenance, possibly untreated, from organic cultivation.
  3. Avoid the hand blender, which tends to weaken the pulp. The classic blender with a glass or plastic cup leaves the pulp nice and thick.
  4. It is a great idea for a healthy snack.
  5. You can serve the smoothie for the whole family; even cold, it is very thirst-quenching.
