- 250 g carrots
- 50 g of blond raisins
- 160 g flour
- 160 g sugar
- 110 ml sunflower oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 sachet of yeast (5 g)
- 1/2 tsp. to c. cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 20 g of melted butter

Preparation of the recipe
Preheat the oven too. 5/6 (160 ° C).
Peel, wash, and grate the carrots.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Mix with a spatula the egg, oil, and sugar. Add this mixture to the flour while stirring to obtain a very homogeneous dough.
Add the raisins and grated carrots. Mix.
Butter a cake tin and pour the dough into it—Bake and cook for one h 15. Take the cake out of the oven, let it cool. Turn out and serve lukewarm with orange marmalade.
You can also incorporate hazelnuts or almonds in your cake.
