Two carrots and rosemary soup

For 4 people

  • 200 g yellow carrots
  • 250 g sand carrots
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 C. to s. grated orange zest
  • 1 C. to s. sunflower oil
  • 60 cl of water 
  •  Salt and pepper


  • Preparation: 15 mn
  • Cooking: 20 mn

Preparation of the recipe

Step 1

Peel, chop the onion. Peel and grate the carrots. Wash, dry, thin out the rosemary.

2nd step

Heat the oil in a casserole. Sauté the onion, without coloring, then add the grated carrots and rosemary. Leave to cool for 5 minutes while stirring. Pour 1 liter of water into the casserole dish, cover, and cook for 15 min. When cooking, remove the casserole from the heat and let cool. Mix. Pour the soup into a saucepan and heat over low heat: salt and pepper.

Step 3

Pour the soup into bowls, sprinkle with orange zest, serve.


Add sophistication to your soup with a parsley coulis.
